Together with Fawaka Ondernemersschool, we have set out to teach children in Amsterdam’s groups 6 and 7 how to create their own eco-friendly applications using low-code technology, thereby having a big influence on societal concerns. The next wave of robotic entrepreneurs
Thiëmo Heilbron founded Fawaka Ondernemersschool, a social enterprise that provides children with educational activities and workshops on social and sustainable entrepreneurship. They provide knowledge to young minds on subjects like tech entrepreneurship, fair trade goods, and sustainable fashion in a lighthearted and encouraging manner. That our experience as IT specialists is useful is not surprising, particularly when it comes to technology.
It has been our pleasure to work with Fawaka on their ‘Robo-Entrepreneurship Program,’ where kids work on green tech projects with the goal of building robots that solve real-world issues.
Together, we taught enthusiastic youngsters in groups 6 and 7 (ages 10–11) low-code programming in Amsterdam’s Transvaal neighborhood. Our aim with this partnership is to ignite a love for low-code and programming in these youthful, enterprising brains, enabling them to become tomorrow’s tech titans! 😉

Low-code to the rescue
